Ben here. Every day we receive a ton of requests for new components. Trust me when I say this: we hear you loud and clear, and we’re working hard to add more of them. That being said, there’s been one component request that has stood out among others in frequency. Well, today I’m excited to announce that we *finally* added that component: the Panel! And, we’re rather confident you’ll love it, too. Here’s how it works:
Drag and drop the Panel component icon onto your phone screen from the components sidebar on the left. You’ll notice that it’s actually a button, because the Panel’s content is hidden by default and can only be accessed when the button is triggered. In the Properties sidebar on the right, there will be an “Items” section where you add your list content. Fill it up with whatever navigation you like, and then go into Test Mode to try it out. That’s it! Simple, huh? If you want to learn more about how the Panel works, head on over to jQuery Mobile’s demo and examples.
That’s all for today. I’ll be writing about more updates we’ve made this week, so stay tuned!
And as always, we want to know what you think. Do you like the new Panel component? How can we make it better, or what other components would you like to see added next? Let us know!
